Thanks to this, the book Etyka interpretacji tekstu literackiego. Postmodernizm. Humanizm. Dydaktyka (Eng. Ethics of literary text interpretation. Postmodernism. Humanism. Didactics) can constitute a valuable theoretical and practical aid for both professionally active Polish Language and Literature teachers and university didactics experts educating future teachers, especially those planning to work in secondary schools. Moreover, the book offers valuable assistance to Polish Studies students looking for inspiration to create lesson projects carried out during their secondary school internships. The models of reading proposed by the author are based on the ethics of interpretation, the use of which is a new and original proposal in didactic practice. A perfect mastery of the interpreter’s workshop allows Anna Włodarczyk to propose reading models opening up a space of freedom and at the same time protecting the work of art against total interpretative liberty condemning the reader to discouragement and failure. In this sense, the reading models described by the author gain ethical dimension; they are full of respect for the literary text.
